At The Kindness Korner, kindness doesn’t stop at the therapy room door — it extends into our community. Kommunity Kare is our outreach initiative dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing unexpected hardship. Through this program, we provide direct assistance, essential resources, and compassionate support to help restore stability, dignity, and hope.

To create a network of care, connection, and compassion — ensuring that every person served through Kommunity Kare feels seen, supported, and valued.

In November, Kommunity Kare focused on meeting the needs of families affected by the federal government shutdown.
Through the generosity of our donors and community partners, we:

• Provided $100 grocery gift cards to 7 families directly impacted by the shutdown.
   

In addition to financial assistance, The Kindness Korner offered no-cost therapy sessions for one individual affected by the shutdown.
Our goal was to provide both practical and emotional support — because stability begins with care.

When uncertainty grows, kindness grounds us.

Distributed a total of $1,180 in essential support to households across the DMV area.
