Clinical supervision with KèIra Brown, MSW, LICSW, LCSW-C, LCSW provides a supportive and accountable space for social workers working toward independent clinical licensure. Supervision focuses on strengthening clinical judgment, developing professional identity, navigating complex practice situations, and preparing for independent clinical practice.

Individual Supervision

$80 per 60-minute session

One-on-one supervision provides dedicated time to focus on your cases, clinical development, licensure progress, professional goals, and areas where you want additional support. Sessions are individualized based on your practice setting, client population, professional development, and stage of the licensure process.

Group Supervision

$65 per person / month

Group supervision provides an opportunity to learn collaboratively through case consultation, clinical discussion, peer perspectives, and shared professional experiences.

Group rate requirements:

A group must be available.
At least two eligible supervisees must participate for the group rate to apply.
Group size will remain within the applicable licensing board's requirements.
Group supervision hours will only be documented when they meet the applicable jurisdiction's requirements.

If a group is unavailable, individual supervision may be scheduled at the individual rate.

How Often Will We Meet?

Because this is outside clinical supervision, there is not one required meeting schedule for every supervisee. Supervision frequency will be determined based on:

Licensing jurisdiction
Number of qualifying hours worked
Applicable Board requirements
Whether the supervisee receives qualifying supervision elsewhere
Individual vs. group supervision
Professional and clinical supervision needs

Supplemental ASWB Test Preparation

As supervisees approach their licensing examination, supervision may incorporate supplemental test preparation. Support may include:

Note: Test preparation is supplemental to the clinical supervision relationship. Supervision is not an ASWB test-preparation course, and participation does not guarantee passage of the licensing examination.

Maryland LCSW-C Supervision

Pursuing the Maryland LCSW-C?

  • Follow supervision, attendance, cancellation, and payment policies

Policies for payment, cancellations/no-shows, late arrivals, group attendance, documentation, communication between sessions, ending supervision, and verification of hours are addressed in the Clinical Supervision Agreement.

Outside supervision: Supervision through The Kindness Korner is independent/outside clinical supervision. KèIra is not the supervisee's employer, manager, or administrative supervisor. Supervisees must confirm that their employer permits outside supervision and that their employment and clinical responsibilities qualify toward their desired license. Any required employer acknowledgment or authorization must be completed before qualifying supervision begins.
